I'm a candidate for Waikato District Council because I deeply care about our community's future and am here to act on your concerns. A resident of Matangi for nine years, I've actively served on both the Tamahere and Matangi Community Committees, and as a board member and company director.
I hold a master's in management, majoring in International Business, and bring wide experience across tourism, events, and international education. I've been a journalist and professional basketball player, and I'm bilingual in Chinese and English. I've managed multicultural teams and proudly promoted diversity and inclusivity through our Matangi Cherry Blossom Festival.
I'm as passionate about good governance as any local backing the Chiefs. I will stand up for all ratepayers, district wide, prioritise essential services and bring energy, transparency, and accountability to Council. With smarter partnerships and stronger ties to Asia, we can grow opportunity and innovation, together.
